Lab Stock Solutions

Antibiotics

• 1,000x ampicillin stock.  Ampicillin sulfate is stored at 4 C.  Make at 100 mg/mL in ddH2O.  Filter sterilize @0.22 um.  Store at -20 C.
• 1,000x chloramphenicol stock.  Chloramphenicol is stored at room temperature with chemicals.  Make at 34 mg/mL in EtOH.  Do not filter sterilize.  Store at -20 C.
